Description

Teho Semillón pays tribute to one of the most emblematic white varieties in Argentina. Present in the country for more than a century, Semillón is an essential part of its winemaking heritage, and this bottling brings it back from old vines in La Consulta, in the heart of the Uco Valley.

The grapes are gently pressed with whole clusters and fermented in used 500-litre French oak barrels, where the wine then rests for ten months. Because the wood is already well seasoned, it lends texture and depth rather than oak flavour, letting the variety and the site speak for themselves.

Teho, meaning "blood of the earth" in the Huarpe language, represents the deep connection between the land and its history. Sourced from old vines in the renowned region of La Consulta.
