Matías Riccitelli The Apple Torrontés 2025 is a fresh and elegant white wine produced by Riccitelli Wines in Tupungato, Uco Valley. Sourced from a traditional vineyard with over 40-year-old vines planted in sandy loam soils at 1,000 meters above sea level, this 100% Torrontés showcases exceptional varietal typicity, vibrant natural acidity, and tension born from slow grape ripening. Hand-harvested in mid-March in small 20 kg crates, the grapes undergo 48 hours of skin maceration followed by protective fermentation with indigenous yeasts at low temperatures (14–16°C) in small concrete vessels, where the wine then ages for 6 months. This line pays homage to Matías’s father, master winemaker Jorge Riccitelli.
