Chacra Treinta y Dos Pinot Noir 2024 is the single-vineyard flagship of Bodega Chacra, the estate founded in 2004 in Mainqué, in Patagonia's Río Negro Valley, by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, grandson of the founder of Tenuta San Guido, home of Sassicaia. It comes from an ungrafted Pinot Noir vineyard planted in 1932 on land layered with clay, sand and pebbles, farmed organically and biodynamically. The most structured wine in the Chacra range, it is made naturally and bottled unfiltered, built for long aging yet already approachable thanks to its soft, velvety tannins.
"Macerated cherry and red berries meet toasted spice and a smoky, mesquite-like note. The palate is silky and focused, with velvety tannins and lively freshness that carry through to a long, mineral-edged finish."
