Calisto Reserva Malbec 2020 is an elegant, concentrated, and expressive expression of Uco Valley Malbec, sourced from high-altitude vineyards at 1,150 meters above sea level in Vista Flores, Tunuyán. Aged for 9 months in second-use French oak barrels, this wine beautifully balances rich fruit character with well-integrated notes of oak, capturing the unique terroir of its sandy loam soils and guided by a philosophy of precision and elegance.
"Bright in color with violet hues, the nose offers good concentration, showing intense aromas of cherries, plum jam, and violets, complemented by delicate notes of vanilla, caramel, and coffee. On the palate, it delivers an enveloping entry with a medium structure and great flavor. Elegance and great persistence define its profile, making it ideal for pairing with robust and well-seasoned dishes."
